The Athens Electra Palace Hotel is right under the shadow of Acropolis, in the picturesque quarter of Plaka. The property was closed from November 2001 until July 17, 2003, for full reconstruction & expansion to a site nearby. The old wing now operates with 98 rooms & 7 suites whilst the new wing with 42 rooms and 3 suites is expected to operate in April 2004. The hotel is located in the heart of the old city, just ten minutes walking from the Acropolis. It is 35 km. away from the “ELEFTHERIOS VENIZELOS” international airport of Athens and just 300 m. away from the central subway station. Since the opening in July 2003, the hotel in addition to its 105 rooms operates one restaurant, one bar and meeting facilities for up to 100 persons. By January 2004, a fitness center with an indoor pool, a steam bath, a Jacuzzi, a sauna, a gym and a massage room, is expected to operate. The outdoor swimming pool will be available by May 2004.

With a two guest maximum, children must use existing bedding as provided in the room. Thus, only one adult and one child, or two adults, or two children can occupy the same room.
Rollaways are not available. Cribs are available at an extra cost, subject to availability and should be requested at time of booking.
Bedding: Standard room includes One Double Or Two Twin beds and can accommodate up to two adults.
